Makes Brock look like an absolute beast, and it gives the Ryder character some development and some time off. You either have Ryder come back and play the gutsy babyface, or you could even have Ryder appear in medical updates sort of like Randy Orton did with the RNN stuff. Could be a great way to segue Ryder into annoying heel territory.
Or, Ryder could just be the supposed new client for Heyman, what with him being the biggest thing that WWE dropped the ball on in recent history.
