I can accept that. It's being stated before release that it's HDMI only. My issue with the 360 was that it was released to be both SD and HD yet more and more gamesrequired an HD tv above a certain size.

I wont have an HD tv for a while yet* so no Xbox One for me.

*HD tvs are around £300 and I'm running an entire house (not just a flat/apartment) and I'm out of college/work right now. The new bedroom tax doesn't help. No way can I justify that price tag for what is a luxury item when my current TV still works perfectly well. That on top of the actual console is an impossiblity.
