I'll say the same thing for two other plays Dave. David Ortiz and Chauncey Billups.

Both were good players when they were in Minnesota, and had they stayed they never would have been great. Put Ortiz in Fenway, he can totally take advantage of their walls and lineup, and now he is an MVP candidate. He wasn't that good in Minnesota, and I have no shame that we didn't keep him.

The same thing with Chauncey Billups, he was good in Minnesota, but he wasn't great. We would have liked to keep him, but he saw better opportunities in the East and went there, and did amazing things. I personally don't think he would have been as good if he stayed with Minnesota, because he fits perfectly in with the Pistons. It worked out better for both teams, because Detroit wouldn't have won without him, and we wouldn't have done anything without Sam Cassell, even if we still did have Chauncey.

If you want to dispute me and prove that Eddie Guardado actually was a great pitcher, and worth every cent he is paid, than do it. If you saw him pitch everynight for two years and give up at least one hit per save, you would know that his stats don't reflect his ability. He pitches straight fastballs, and it works for the most part, and he would have been a good asset on our team, but he decided that he was better than he is and demanded more money, and Seattle picked it up. We're still leading the division and beating the Red Sox right now, how are the Diamondbacks doing?
