According to Crytek, Ryse: Son of Rome was deliberately designed to be a button masher and cater to what they called "unskilled" players.

Microsoft states the Xbox One might be getting several revisions before its release in Japan due to the majority of its media-related stuff won't work or cater to Japanese people. According to the Xbox Japan boss, these changes won't delay the expected release date of the console.
