I think the "Real Americans" stable has a bit more legs (mostly because of Zeb), but once it's on the downslide, I think you could play up his sheer athleticism in vignettes much like they did back in the day with Mr. Perfect and more recently with MVP (when he was paired/feuding with Matt Hardy).
You don't have to have him snap a la Daniel Bryan. Just have him cut a promo about how Zeb was holding him back from his full potential.
You can have him become an inspirational leader using videos similar to this, but focusing the commentary more on the watcher's possibilities than his personal accomplishments:
