According to reports, Australian government considering regulation against devices that are region locked. Out of the Big 3 next gen consoles, only the Wii U would be affected.

Eternal Darkness rumored to be getting a digital re-release for the Wii U VC after Nintendo recently reapplied the trademarks for the game.

According to Sega, Sonic Lost World was in development before the Wii U was even revealed and ended up becoming an exclusive after Sega felt the game fit better on that console than the other next gen consoles.
“The Wii U hadn’t been revealed when development began for Sonic Lost World, so we were working on a PC version in order to see what kind of platformer we could make. Then, when we tried to think about which platform would be best for this game, we chose Nintendo.”

The Australian branch of Nintendo announces they are also holding the 30% Off Wonderful 101 deal for those who buy the digital version of Pikmin 3. The offer started last week and lasts till september 21.
