Why bother when you can have people pay $60 to test the game for you? If they had 2 years to make a game they'd have time to iron everything out, but at this point they're expected to churn out a new game each year.

Exclusivity licenses need to end. I want my EA MVP Baseball and NFL 2k series back.
Have you never played any game ever before, patches happen all the time. 90% of minor problems will be fixed within a month of game being released (which, for the record, isn't actually until tomorrow anyway)
