Hey, remember years ago when the New Midnight Express (or it might have been the new Rock And Roll Express, I don't recall) came to the WWF (as it was known then) because Jim Cornet was complaining about how we didn't see wrestling because of all the drama and showmanship? And remember how they lost the NWA tag team titles to The Headbangers? And also remember how they got NO FREAKING HEAT from the fans?
My point is as cool as it would be to see more wrestling, the fans aren't into that. I want a reason for John Cena to be forced into his fatal four way match. I want a reason to cheer Eddie on aside from I don't like Bradshaw. I want a reason to love Eugene.
More wrestling wouldn't be cool in my book. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed The Rock's promo. I believe this was one may have been one of his best (yet nothing will top "Oh dear God... My name's Billy...") , needless to say I laughed my ass off at Kane/Lita/Matt while my little sister got wraped up in it and damn near cried.
Now would seeing Matt Hardy VS Kane really mean anything if there wasn't a reason to cheer on one of them (if I had to cheer, I'd say "GO KANE!") or a reason to laugh?
Yeah, I'm rambling right now, I know it, so I'll cut.
