I haven't read any speculation at all about this series so I don't know who's been predicting what, but the only thing that would really piss me off is if there's a really "clean" ending; i.e. Dex and Hannah getting away and living their life in Argentina, Elway getting popped in the iairport, Deb and Quinn getting together and "living happily ever after", etc.
Dexter was never really pushed as a "redemption story" for the main character, so for them to really kind of half-assedly force that narrative in a subpar final season would really be disappointing.
