Forgot this thread was here.

Show in KC was fucking incredible. Trent's voice was just on it, which is part of the reason I'm glad we got to see one of the first shows instead of the later ones. There were moments that were so powerful for me personally that I was almost brought to tears. When Terrible Lie started, the crowd erupted. I had standing room until that moment, and suddenly the crowd just crushed in around us and we were just a part of this writhing creature for the rest of the night. I was so exhausted and drained in every way by the end of the night. Such an incredible experience.

Opening band was 'meh'. A 40 minute instrumental set that started to lose the crowd about halfway through. In fact, I started thinking about the general atmosphere in the room after they were done, and there was some obvious 'tension' in the room. Aptly named tour perhaps? Catch the crowd off guard, give them something they're not prepared for that kind of irritates them. Builds a kind of seething mob of people until the main event starts and everyone goes nuts.

Light show was incredible. Totally different from the festival show they were doing. Totally different lights, screens, etc. Just a whole new experience, and I loved it. It was brilliant the whole way through.
