Okay, seriously, do you not remember Disc Read Errors on the PS2? It really was one of the biggest hardware issues ever and spawned a class-action suit.

The original PS had issues reading discs as well. Sony's solution was to turn the console on its side or upside down.

The original Xbox was a fire hazard. Same with the Japanese launch of the DS Lite.

Speaking of DS Lites, they've had electronic issues and that whole cracking hinge issue.

Keep in mind also that the most reliable hardware from last gen (the Wii) still had twice the standard acceptable failure rate.

How far back do I have to go? Just the fact that you're playing dumb to the PS2 hardware issues should be enough to make your statements ridiculous as all fuck. A fanatical statement from a special little man.
