You vastly overestimate the validity of your thoughts and opinions from what I've heard and read. Where would he be without his marriage? He'd still have been a main eventer, still would have been one of the top heels of the past decade and a half, and still would have had a DX reunion that made a shitload of money. The only different is that he might have been fully retired by now and have 1 or 2 less title reigns.
