That doesn't always work. I pulled someone out there car and then killed them before driving off in their car. 5 seconds later I get a text from them and they put a bounty on me.
Kind of weird when you get a bounty put on you from beyond the graaaave.

You can take a taxi so that's technically public transport, right? I'd be all for a working bus route etc but you are hugely vulnerable crawling along the street in a giant bus with no way to defend yourself quickly.
Unless they balanced it out by having your blip invisable during your bus journey and your name not appearing on screen when someone is near you because, if someone is running down the street with an AK47 and you casually trundle past on a bus, they'll open fire as soon as they see your user name hovering above.

Did I mention buses weren't originally in online, as far I could tell, and only appeared if you flew around downtown in a helicopter? Now they seem to have added them as normal, I think.
The point being there are probably other vehicles that we can't get online but we can find a way to access them.
