I can understand people not joining the TPWW Facebook & Twitter pages as, like myself, they may not like them and therefor not have a Facebook and/or Twitter account to do it.

As for signing up to the Temporary Boards, yes, there's no excuses for not doing it really, unless you don't like ProBoards either.
