I loved some of his heel promo work way back on NXT Season 4, the man can definitely cut a good promo if given a chance. I'm not sure he'll ever be a true main eventer at this point - but I do think he could conceivably have a decent program with Big E Langston for the Intercontinental Title.

I just hope they give his new heel character a good amount of TV time and don't relegate him to Main Event duty within a few weeks. It's times like this that I miss the split and having ECW as a brand, really. He'd have been able to go there, spend a few months working his heel character on television every week, and then presumably be brought back to a main show with more momentum.
