Exactly. Does anyone remember how basically every show from 1996 to 1998 for WCW started with random pairings of 6 man Cruiser-weight tag matches?

They always were spot fests that would devolve into a chain of signature dives to the outside. And would usually include a Hector Garza corkscrew plancha.

Then the match would finish with a Juvi 450 Splash, Y2J Top rope Frankensteiner, or insert other spot.

They would get the fans going and the rest of the show would benefit.
