Well, a few years ago, over here in the UK there was a documentary about Paige's family. This was before Paige was on NXT and known to North American fans. The documentary wasn't focusing on Paige, but her family, mostly her dad, as he was a somewhat well known wrestler over here and his family were continuing with this wrestling tradition.

Anyway, during the documentary, all her family members were all wrestlers, wrestling for her father's indy shows he puts on in the local area, except Paige. In the documentary, she showed and I'm sure voiced no interest in wrestling, and I think she said it was stupid, but don't quote me on that last part.

During the documentary, her father scheduled a tag match featuring her brother and other guys, but before the match, her brother got injured and she was asked to fill in for him at the very last second, despite not having any experience at all. She reluctantly did it anyway but didn't partake in the match much for obvious reasons, but she was popular with the fans, mostly due to her looks.

After that, she kept being put into her father's shows, still, due to her looks.

Then in the documentary, the WWE were over here on one of their UK tours and were hosting tryouts. Her brother went and so did she after her mother telling her she should go, or something like that. The cameras weren't allowed into the tryouts for obvious reasons, but after it, the brother and Paige both spoke about it.

In the end, the brother never got signed but did have a televised match on SmackDown, appearing in a 3 on 1 handicap match against the Big Show. He was one of the jobbers.

Paige on the other hand did get signed, despite having much less experience than her brother. She mentioned that at the tryout, the "judges", if you want to call them that, all kept commenting her on her looks.

Once they got home, her brother was really upset that he didn't get signed but Paige did, as being a WWE Superstar had been his dream since he was a kid. Paige then proceeded to talk to whoever was behind the camera creating the documentary about how rich she's going to be and how famous she's going to be and what she's going to be spending all her money on.

Now, this is most likely going to sound "lol typical internet wrestling fan"-ish, but after watching the documentary, I didn't like her. She came across to me as a bit of a brat who's up her own ass and doesn't really "deserve" to be where she is now as it's all because of luck and her "looks". If her brother didn't get injured, she would probably be working behind a supermarket till these days and continuing to have zero interest in wrestling. She didn't care about wrestling and never wanted to be a wrestler until she found out she could become rich and famous because of it. Whereas for her brother, wrestling is the only thing he lives for and it's all he ever wanted to do but he didn't get the contract.

That's pretty much why I hate Paige. Infact, I hate her so much that I actually prefer AJ over her.

At least AJ always wanted to be a wrestler and has been a fan since childhood and she really shows her dedication to it, with some of her matches and that tattoo and stuff.

That's probably also the first and last nice thing I'll ever say about AJ.
Then why hate on AJ. Seems like a double standard bro.
