Why put beloved and perennial good guy Rey Mysterio at #30? Why not put a heel in there so they could at least play off the boos?
It's not even like DB HAD to win. He could have been #30, the roof would have come off the place - especially with the speculation that he wouldn't be in there - then you have him eliminated in some nefarious way (by Bray/The Wyatts/The Shield/The Outlaws/anyone) and Batista wins anyway. Holding him out of the match was just needless.

I posted this in Heyman's thread: it depends. If Bryan goes on and is main eventing wrestlemania, then it's smart because it has Bryan fans foaming at the mouth right now and it has riled up the fanbase in a way where they could make this big. If he doesn't, then yeah it's stupid. Nice situation the company is in right now. Will be an interesting two months.
