Vickie Guerrero and Del Rio could hook up on-screen. That would be so simplistic, but it could really work. Vickie could "punish" Del Rio by putting him against the World Champion (let's say Daniel Bryan by this point) on SmackDown even though he's injured or something. Del Rio says that he wanted the night off, but Vickie says he's going to compete. Del Rio says that she should at least make it for the title, and Vickie says she's fine with that. Del Rio hobbles off.

Anyway, it turns out Del Rio was faking and Vickie was in on it and they screw the face champion out of his title and Del Rio kisses Vickie at the top of the ramp.
