they added a new race and a new class for pandaria, are you thinking of cataclysm (two expansions ago)? i think you might be, because the next expansion is also definitely more than just a "big patch".

all of which is to say - like rdd, this, too, will forever be the game that i poured the most time into, because there is just no time in my life that i will ever have the disposable time/income to play a single game like i did wow, a game that i have literally spent more than a year of my life, in total hours, playing.

i still play it casually, so that figure will always stay ahead of any other game, but even if i never touched it again, i don't think i'd be able to replicate that kind of dedication to a single game.
