*for those who don't know: I maintain DB was actually released on paper, because he had to be, but was given a "handshake guaranteed" job back at the end of his non-compete clause and rewarded wth a US title run upon his return for keeping his mouth shut on the matter while he was gone. It wasn't so much an angle on camera as it was a work against the shareholders, ad sponsors, and whoever else had a problem with that image.
