This isn't a complaint, just a bit of arm-chair stuff.

I would have had Splinter doing the voice-over narration for the trailer even if I left him out. Would have played it very dark, the darkest scenes in the movie, almost overly serious and then at the end have Splinter say something like,

"In time they will be forced to take the role they were born to take...until then...COWABUNGA!"

And put a scene with Mikey taking a selfie and eating a pizza with sound of all the guys partying in the background followed by 6 second montage of skateboard in the sewer, a Foot being slammed between two shells and a final shot of Shredder's silhouette.

BAM and even would have kept this music:
