Spoil away. Some of us (and by that, I mean just me) just could never get into it. I bought the damn thing on launch day, and I've still yet to make it out into the world. Partly because its... boring. 7 drops you off in the story. 9 drops you off in the story. 8 begins with you milling around a school. I hear nothing but good things about the game, but just never clicked with me to want to keep playing.
However, Triple Triad is superior to Tetra Master. And I love 9, but the card game there is too damn "random". Triple Triad not only requires more placement strategy than blind luck, but actually keeps track of the decks so that you, in turn, can have an idea of what you may be up against and plug in a deck from what you possess to win. In Tetra Master, the decks you go up against are randomly generated, and most of the time, they seem to "spawn" just the right valued cards in the right places to have a high probability of beating, or at least tying you.
