I remember the roster reveal for that game they were hyping 75 characters being in. And there were...including NPCs. They included announcers, ring announcers, refs, storyline NPCs, alt attires, etc. in their count. And they defended themselves by being all like "we said 75 characters, not 75 playable" even though they had to know it was blatantly misleading.

The roster was shit enough that I wanted to skip out but held out hope that story mode would save it. Then they announced you couldn't use ECW guys and the actual list of guys you could use was so small and I skipped. Never played anything of that game other than the demo. Admittedly wish I had given it a rent at one point solely to cane the shit out of people with The Sandman.
