A WWE spokesman told CNN Money that the job cuts will impact all of WWE's business units and locations. The spokesman confirmed that the employees were let go on Thursday. They also confirmed that about 60 jobs were lost as WWE's headcount is around 850 people.

WWE today released five NXT developmental talents. Released were Garett Dylan, Travis Tyler, Slate Randall, Mac Miles and Dani Jax.

In the wake of yesterday's announcement of WWE's 10 year deal with Rogers in Canada, I have heard from a lot of people that are very leery about how it will all play out in the country with Rogers controlling the rights to the Network. WWE has said that Rogers will be the conduit to other providers in the nation, which concerns some people there due to the animosity that exists between some of the companies. The network will be a TV only product, though Rogers does indeed have an app so The Network will most likely be available for people who pay for the broadcast version to be able to stream on devices.

At the NXT tapings, Triple H announced that the next live special on the WWE Network will be on September 11th. The NXT and Women's titles will be defended and the winner of the Number One contender tournament will face the Ascension. Hunter also announced that there will be a new NXT GM.

Vince Russo posted his Impact review on the VIP section of his website, Pyro & Ballyhoo. During the podcast, Russo admitted to being a consultant for TNA since October 24, 2013. He said that he reviewed their shows and was given additional responsibilities, including producing commentary. He said that he will explain the situation more over time.

Tito Ortiz will be returning to Impact Wrestling. "I'm actually returning August or September," Ortiz told Cageside Seats. "I'll be coming back to TNA and doing some stuff. It's in the works with Dixie. She reached out to me and I'm a big wrestling fan. I've been a wrestling fan since Junkyard Dog! We have some ideas."
