We noted before that TNA has canceled the September 26th live event scheduled for Enid, Oklahoma. They have also canceled the September 27th live event in Salinas, Kansas. TNA noted that an "unforeseen scheduling conflict" caused the dates to be canceled. More canceled events are expected to be confirmed soon.

The final rating for Thursday's Impact with Dixie's much-hyped table spot was a 1.09 rating, barely up from the previous week's 1.05 rating for Destination X. As noted, the show drew 1.41 million viewers, barely up from the previous week.

We noted before that TNA's final episode under their current Spike TV contract will be the No Surrender Impact Wrestling on September 25th as the contract expires the last week of September. Word is that TNA may not go off the air immediately as Spike may continue working with them for a little while as they try to find another home.

A new show titled SmackDown Flashback debuts on the WWE Network this week. The first episode premieres today and looks at the network premiere of SmackDown on August 26th, 1999 with The Rock vs. Triple H.

We've noted that Del Rio was cut for allegedly assaulting a WWE.com social media worker after that employee allegedly made a racist remark about Del Rio. That WWE.com worker is still employed with the company but word is that he could be finding himself out of a job like Del Rio soon. Del Rio's slap to the man was described as a heavy shot, something similar to the infamous slap wrestler David Schultz gave to 20/20 reporter John Stossel in 1984.

Spike TV wanted to purchased a 10% percentage of TNA Impact Wrestling and move forward as share owners of the business. Dixie Carter would not agree to this deal and it caused the news of the potential end of their working relationship.
