Nightmare Wizard from the Kirby series revealed to be an assist trophy for the game.

Quote:
Nightmare Wizard made his first video game appearance — as a final boss — in Kirby’s Adventure, a 1993 title developed by HAL Laboratory for the NES. He has since appeared in a multitude of succeeding Kirby titles, casting his shadowy darkness upon Kirby and friends. Most recently, Nightmare Wizard made his presence known in one of the Bonus Stages for Wii U eShop title NES Remix 2.

But here’s what Super Smash Bros. series director Masahiro Sakurai recently shared with the Miiverse community about the new Nightmare Wizard Assist Trophy.

"Nightmare Wizard appears as an Assist Trophy! He will engulf the stage in darkness, and fighters will need to brawl blindly for a while. Look out for the effect before it goes dark, and play it to your advantage. Blinding and reversal effects even make the computer players mess up."
