Both Kendall Skye and Troy McLain have been released by WWE, according to PWInsider.com.

Cena was the one who scouted and personally recommended the WWE to sign McLain at the time.

There are rumors of Fergal Devitt forming a tag team with Sami Zayn as a way to introduce Devitt to NXT TV. It's also been speculated, based on photos posted to social media and them training together, that Devitt may form a tag team with Kevin Steen.

While Sami Zayn has been performing as Adam Rose's Bunny recently, Justin Gabriel has also played the rabbit in the past few weeks. Meanwhile, there has been talk in the WWE of having the Bunny wrestle a match on the "Kickoff Show" for WWE Night of Champions this Sunday.

Just a little over two months after retiring from WWE, former WWE Superstar Santino Marella is making plans for a comeback after undergoing neck surgery recently. He posted the following on Facebook today: "Surgery went well, there were some unexpected broken bones in my neck apparently but everything is looking good now, let the legendary comeback begin! 6 months till I get to do what I was born to do again, perform in front of the wwe universe"

Regarding WWE changing KENTA’s name to Hideo Itami at the NXT Takeover event last week, Triple H did not want the name change but Vince McMahon was adamant that they would give KENTA a new name. Triple H felt that it would hurt WWE’s ability to use KENTA with their expansion in Japan. WWE has been “cold” in Japan in recent years and Triple H has been hoping that Hideo can provide a boost in that region. Triple H also didn’t want Japanese fans to feel WWE was being disrespectful by changing the name.

Regarding Kenta’s name being changed to Hideo Itami, apparently Hideo comes from former MLB pitcher Hideo Nomo and Itami has to do with Naruto Manga anime.
