I don't think the issue was "the PPV business dying". If that's the case then why have WrestleMania buys over the past 10 years been better than ever before? WrestleMania has been treated as an event/spectacle beyond the typical WWE product more and more over the past decade or so and MORE people have ordered it than ever before despite the raised prices. If other PPVs are selling less it's not because the PPV business is dying... it's because they aren't able to sell PPVs with the state of the current product. If the product gets better and ratings start to soar then PPV buys go with it. It's that simple. It's not PPV's fault.
