For what it's worth, Austin has said on his podcast that, if he got himself into top ring shape, he believes he could do the full rigorous WWE schedule for 2-3 years if he absolutely had to.

I can't see him working THAT much but it's worth noting, it might be more than a one-off match. He also said that had the neck complications not forced him into retirement in 2003 he thinks he would have kept going until around 2010-2011 or so before calling it quits. So he clearly feels there is still gas in the tank.
