I think it's cool for the Batman franchise, so they can have the entire Bat-Family at their disposal without having to trudge through origin stories for every one of them.
On the other hand, I think it's stupid to have a grizzled old Batman who's been a superhero for years and years in a setting where every other superhero is brand new. It ruins the whole idea that the Justice League is supposed to be a group of equals, first off, and secondly, it makes all that talk that Pa Kent said in Man of Steel about how Clark is "going to change everything" a load of shit, since Batman was already doing that years before.
But whatever. Snyder's gotta have his Dark Knight Returns memorabilia, so to hell with the continuity that he himself set up one movie ago.
