I would say yes. Even with all that's been cut this year, there is still a ton to do, and from a gameplay standpoint, everything feels different.

One thing in particular I noticed is how much more solid strikes are. Especially when guys are getting up? Remember in past games how when you attacked guys getting up that it would look really weak, like it was just sliding right off? Not here. You get solid connections on your strikes while they get up. It looks really good.

There are a ton of little things like that in the game. When you get a guy beat down enough and his stamina is low, he'll crawl to the ropes to help him up. I did a top rope elbow drop on a guy crawling, thinking it would slide right off like in previous games, but I flattened him right back onto the mat. So satisfying. Also did a running attack on a guy who was crawling and kicked him right in the gut.

The big thing is that everything just flows so much better like drave said.

Gonna try Career for the rest of the night.
