Monday's episode of WWE RAW, the final show of 2014 with Edge and Christian running the show and a big tease from Daniel Bryan for the final hour, drew 3.459 million viewers, down from last week's 3.631 million viewers. For this week's show, the first hour drew 3.174 million viewers, the second hour drew 3.476 million viewers and the final hour drew 3.726 million viewers.

The idea behind Ryback's promo on Monday night's WWE RAW from Washington, DC was for him to connect with the fans on a new level by telling an emotional, personal story. Ryback re-tweeted several messages from fans on Monday night about how the promo inspired them. Ryback told the same story in an interview with Sam Roberts back in 2013 and recently on Chris Jericho's Talk Is Jericho podcast.

There's talk within WWE that some of the WrestleMania 31 main events may have been switched around in the last week or so. Apparently there were creative changes suggested for some of the top matches also.

We noted before that Curtis Axel worked the recent set of WWE NXT TV tapings and will face Hideo Itami on the next episode. Axel is expected to take over the role that Tyson Kidd had in NXT where he provides main roster star power for a few months.

Originally Posted by Observer After the recent situation with Alberto Del Rio and CM Punk, WWE has changed all performer contracts. The contract now say that if a talent is fired for disciplinary reasons, they forfeit all merchandise rights and can't work in pro wrestling or MMA for one year.

As noted yesterday, TNA announced that Kurt Angle has re-signed with the promotion. Abyss has also re-signed with TNA. TNA also announced that they have re-signed EC3.

Orton is scheduled to undergo surgery to repair the issues, however the recovery time after such an operation is only a few weeks. It’s expected that Orton will miss some live events as a result. When Orton does fully return, he is expected to initially work with Seth Rollins, even though he’s advertised to work with Kane on live events.
