The latest word on Mysterio's WWE status came from The Wrestling Observer Newsletter in December and it was noted that WWE creative was supposed to come up with a storyline for Rey that would have ran from Survivor Series up to WrestleMania 31, but that was nixed for some reason. Before that, it was reported that Vince McMahon had eased up on some of Mysterio's demands and that the company was ready to bring him back to TV.
Mysterio teased earlier in the week that he has about a month left and/or likely is in the Rumble this year.


Also for those interested in Wrestle Kingdom 9 ppv, it appears the Flipps app won't be showing the event live while several ppv carries likely are only having the replay being shown tomorrow. NJPW World has it live but in Japanese commentary only while Direct TV confirmed they will have both the live (2am EST Sunday) and replay (7pm EST Sunday) shown in English.
