I thought the story was told really well, and for me, these are the two best of all time in the ring together, both approaching the end. All the other stuff that we know fed into it as well. HBK turning his life around was part of it, but what really got me was how it was obvious that Flair just couldn't stop wrestling. It was all he ever did and all he ever was (in his mind). The tears and emotion at the end of the match all seemed so real and it really pulled you in. I know he wrestled after, but this was his last big time match on the big stage and I hope it is remembered that way. Was a fantastic end to an amazing career.
I was going to say this too. I think I actually cried watching it. And I was 24.
