His current gimmick is to be a poor man's Chris Benoit, while being as unentertaining and ambiguosly gay as possible.


Throughout his lifetime, Edge has basically had 5 gimmicks.

1) The non-speaking, entering-from-the-crowd international man of mystery.

2) A member of the Brood

3) The acting-like-a-faggot stage (we last saw this between the "Terri Invitational Tournament", and Wrestlemania 2000).

4) Edge and Christian 'reeking of awesomeness' and 'picture posing' gimmick. Arguably Edge's best gimmick.

5) Rob Zombie music face Edge. Almost what we see now, but not as serious. He acted more like 'himself'.



Since Edge has returned, he has gone back to gimmick#3 (with the 'stalker' image attached). The LEAST popular and LEAST over of his gimmicks.

If anything - the WWE should go with #1, #5 (get back the copyrights for the Rob Zombie music), or #4 (re-unite with Christian).
