On December 14, 2003...a young man by the name of Randy Orton got the one up on then Champion Rob Van Dam to capture not only the Title, but also our imaginations. He gave way to a promising new future for the number one wrestling company in the world, and gave all fans a frash new era to live through. Randy Orton went on to hold that very same Intercontinental Championship for an incredible 209 days. He was wrongfully robbed of the oportunity to give to the belt, what he had given to the fans. We take this time to honor Randy Orton and his wonderful contributions to the Intercontinental Championship...and indeed the entire world of wrestling.
