She's basically only in the Hall of Fame because she dropped the championship in the trash on Nitro. If she didn't do that nobody would have cared about her at all.

It was appropriate timing given the airing of "The Monday Night War" on the network and as you said the unique situation of her denigrating a WWE belt on a rival show.
Other than that there were no other appropriate female candidates as it appears there has to be at least one female inductee.
Ivory is worthy in my opinion but was her career that outstanding? Victoria is another but again question marks as to whether or not she was truly outstanding. Gail Kim's been more of a "success" in TNA. Molly Holly......maybe.
Beth Phoenix (boing boing) one day for sure but I don't think she has "retired" as such yet.
Miss Elizabeth might be overlooked because of her past and of course there's more chance of Hitler rising from the dead than Chyna ever being inducted. Triple H suggests it's because of her post-wrestling infamy but ultimately I can't see her ever being inducted whilst the McMahons (i.e. Stpehanie) still own the organization.
Any other stand out female wrestlers?
Oh Stacy Keibler!
