It's kinda what JamesSteele said. They can sign the top 6 WWE talents tomorrow but as a second tier promotion in a dying medium it won't really matter. Why have hamburger when you can have steak? Not sure about the steak analogy but for me the issue with TNA is the way it's run i.e. Carter.
If the likes of Hogan, Sting, Flair, Foley and even Bubba Ray Dudley would prefer part-time/sporadic/one-off/promo appearances in the WWE than full time roles in spotlight at TNA, it says a lot about the company. But if Carter were to sell there's more of a chance of McMahon buying TNA out rather than somebody else wanting to come in and revamp it completely.
