Wow. It doesn't seem like the dropkick could've killed him, it doesn't look that severe. But you can clearly see immediately following the dropkick he goes limp after falling on the ropes. Maybe If there was an angle showing him hitting the floor before the dropkick, it could show if he fell awkwardly or something.
