I'm going to try my best not to repeat everyone else's lists, so here are a few others that I want.
-Have a different number of matches depending on how big the show is. Like, HeAt/Velocity only have 3, Raw and Smackdown have 5, PPV's have 8, and Wrestlemania has 10.
-Make the other abilities worth a damn! I hate the fact that I can beat on the Big Show for nearly ten minutes as Mysterio and barely have him on yellow, when all he has to do is 4 or 5 moves to knock me out. Give cruiserweights moves that do actual damage, make it so that they can escape moves by outmaneuvering the heavies automatically (if the cruisers can never pick up heavies, then heavies shouldn't be able to catch the cruisers) I'm not saying make the game unbalanced towards lighter wrestlers, but they REALLY need to level the playing field.
-Moves that are done "sloppy," like if the guy's injured or your opponent is too heavy.
-For Season Mode, have the damage meters have long-term affects, leading to injuries and stuff. That would definitely add a whole new degree of strategy to it.
-Speaking of Season Mode, have certain wrestlers feud with specific other wrestlers, instead of just picking opponents and partners at random. I hate the fact that my tag team Champions are Test and Booker T, and that I had Goldberg feuding with an inexplicably heel Rob Van Dam for almost an entire season.
-Voice work done by some of the better mic workers, like the Rock or Jericho.
-More stories to follow in Season mode, done at different times.
-Make the AI smarter on harder difficulties, so that it actually wrestles you instead of being a cheap bastard.
-Have AI faces and heels act differently, so that heels will be more likely to grab a weapon or (if he's champion) try to get himself DQ'ed, while a face will taunt more and work the crowd, bringing up his spirit meter faster. Or something.
-Make the game a 2-Disc set, one with the game itself, and one with the Create Mode. That way, you could have an ungodly amount of create-a-whatevers to make.
