Classic fatalities are currently rumored to be arriving as a DLC pack in the near future. So far just confirmed for the PC version.

PS4 version currently dealing with a game breaking bug called "CE-34878-0" which is mostly messing up online play for the game. Some warnings regarding the quick fix since it can lead to saves being deleted or corrupted as a side effect.

What you'll want to do is sign out of the PSN manually outside of Mortal Kombat X, restart it, and sign back in after the menu appears. Then you'll be able to play online, as well as be advertised to for all of the hot new DLC that didn't come with your launch copy.
