What I've heard (this may not be right at all) is that the Lions are cashed up, as you say, but they have no actual fan base. I think this makes sense, because if they did have alot of fans, why the fuck weren't they included in the NSL at least?
On a different note, Gooner have you heard that if Newcastle United (the Australian version) gets their application for the APL accepted, they're going to have Terry Venables as their coach?
