Yeah that's ridiculous. Hate All Star Voting in general. Yeah the fans will get the obvious people like Trout, Cabrera, etc. in as they should but every year there are a couple of questionable starters because it's not much more than a popularity contest.
They can say it's the "fan's game" and an exhibition all they want but they still tie up something important in the outcome of the game.
