Yeah looks pretty good once again. The key to SD becoming slightly better is that they are giving more time to the CW's, which gives SD a chance to have 2 maybe 3 good matches on the show every week. This is the advantage that RAW has, where even if the show is booked horribly you still can hang your hat on seeing 2-3 good matches.
Anyway, if you had told me two months ago JBL was getting 3 straight wins over Eddie I would have threatened to stop watching SD altogether, but it doesn't bother me. Every win has been really cheap and hasn't hurt Eddie, and now Eddie gets a program with Kurt which should kick some serious ass. JBL moves on and likely drops the strap to Taker, and even though that kinda sucks, at least Taker is a big star and the title will seem soemwhat important because its on a credible guy.
What I really like is how they've set up tons of stuff for Angle to do upon his return. You've got Eddie, who he'll likely start fueding with over the next couple of months (I'd assume at least 2 PPVs worth of matches). After that they could go to Cena, who has beef with Angle with all the US title business going on. And then if Angle's body can hold up, and Taker is still champ, I think it would make a lot of sense to have Angle be the one who takes the title from Taker.
Looks like we'll get a new (face) GM in the next week or so on SD. Angle fired all the divas, so there's a way for the new GM to get a babyface reaction right off the bat by rehiring them. That person can also force Angle into the ring with Eddie at Summerslam and put Cena back in the US title mix with a match at Summerslam as well. I'm thinking its going to be Steph.
John H is back....thats just funny, and sad!
