Well where do I begin?
We are entering a stage in wrestling where the wrestlers are starting to be smaller than what they used to be. They don't have to have the classic look of a wrestler anymore. Paige and AJ are different as well as Lita on the women's side. On the men's side, Daniel Bryan, Neville, and Dolph Ziggler.
Wrestlers are getting called up for the sake of wrestling. They are performers that they can market in a specific role. Enzo Amore is NOT. A prototype wrestler, but his performance and charisma is so off he charts is makes up for it.
The same can be made about Ceasro, he's not big on the charisma, but he makes up for it with what he can do in the ring that the average person can get behind.
Lastly every Superman needs a Lex Luthor. Cena can't be an effective hero without an effective villain. KO is fitting that bill. Someone stated that he's being treated like Brock Lesnar with mic skills. He plays the role of a villain very well. And the extra stuff he does and the fact he says he does it for his family gives him layers of character.
Most people don't go that deep, but what do,I know...
