He was really clunky when he first started, but he's now good enough in the ring to be considered "good in the ring." He's got size, a good physique, can talk -- he could be a huge star. The Prime Time Players split came at a poor time -- WrestleMania season.
I'm not invested in Young & O'Neil as a team. I've never been too high on Young. He's got a good look (it's been made quite apparent how much he looks like John Cena), but his ring work has never grabbed me. I don't really know what to suggest for them. As a team they aren't good enough to grab my attention over Cesaro & Kidd, The New Day, The Wyatt Family or The Lucha Dragons. As singles acts, I don't really see too much for them to do.
I'd probably let them enhance for a little bit -- put over heel teams like The New Day -- but keep them looking strong against guys like The Ascension and the heel Los Matadores (if they ever do turn them).
The more I think about it (disjointed thought coming) the more I like the idea of a new Real Americans tandem between Jack Swagger & Titus O'Neil. Swagger is basically great at making his partners shine. Ziggler & Cesaro actually gained a lot by being in a team with him. They could be a pretty brutish team and Darren Young can find a new partner to go against them. Plus the history between Swagger and Cesaro could be exploited for a match against him and Kidd.
