Supposedly the reason was they didn't feel the crowd was a good crowd for television. But it was certainly louder than this. Corpus Christi crowds are always shit yet they get multiple TV shows a year.
For some unknown reason, they really love to spend their money for WWE events even though they barely care about what happens the majority of the time.

Think they were even in the upper tier of cities when a list the WWE uses for splitting cities into spending groups was leaked recently.
