Well, to be fair to the Warrior, he did deserve the Title at Mania 6. The crowd was really behind him and he deserved the push he got. To me, he was a great IC Champ too. I sort of compare his run to Goldberg as US CHAMP. They were unstoppable and gave the belt a lot of credibility. I remember when Rude beat Warrior for the IC Title at Mania 5, the crowd booed the shit out of Rude and were really pissed.

But Remember when Warrior beat Honky for the IC Title in 88, holy shit the crowd went nuts. That was awesome. Mostly do to the fact that finally someone had taken the Title from HTM.

Problem with the Warrior's run as World Champ though, was that the WWF had no heels lined up for him. The WWF fed him Rude as a challenger, but nobody gave a shit because Warrior had beaten Rude before. So his run ended up failing because of lack of heels and other things.
