First off, what the hell is a rumor?
A rumor is a report of uncertain origin and accuracy; hearsay.
And what is hearsay?
Hearsay is information heard from another.
Let me see if I can understand something here. Let's look at the facts - the certain things.
Joe Blow, or better yet, StoneCold33-99 has a web page. You didn't know? Sure, HbkHhh01-99 has one too - they all do.

All the wannabes, the Undertakers, the HitMans, the Stings, the DDP's, the Macho Mans, on and on and on...gotta have a web page, maybe even a couple - then it becomes an official site.

They have to have one. So they do. Now, they've never met Joe Blow (he's my favorite) in person, albeit, they have talked of hooking up with one another at the next Dude Love convention. Talk of doing so is certain. He's got a web page. That too - is certain. Therefore, his release of uncertain information must be certain. Besides, you are certain, he's certain - it must become certain to squelch the uncertainty.

Now, wrestling rumors must really be certain. Why? Because they are a work within a work. And everyone knows two works makes a real, i.e., two uncertains become a certain, just like two negatives become a positive.

How do rumors spread so quickly? Credible reporting by credulous reporters. By self-claiming certainty experts propogating "copy and paste" materials (their claim to credible reporting) - especially erroneous info.The internet is overwhelmed with wannabes who "are". Are credulous. Are asinine. Are ignoramus. Are braindead. Are, are, are. Certainly, certainly, certainly.
